Repairs for diatonic models
I service most models of diatonic harmonicas (Hohner, Seydel, Suzuki, Lee Oskar, and others). I also service many high-end legacy custom harps from Filisko guild builds and other customizers including Harrison B Radicals. Suzuki Sub 30’s and Hohner XB 40’s.
Available basic services include, cleaning, reed replacement, comb upgrades, re profiling, gapping, wind saver replacement for valved models, and final tuning to intonation of choice.
Optimization/ custom upgrades of harmonicas may include: Full slot embossing, flat sanding of comb and draw plates, wood comb flattening & sealing, opening of cover plates, cover plate support bumpers, reed profiling, slot adjusting, gapping and final tuning to intonation of choice, and more.
Repairs for chromatic models
Available basic services include, harmonica cleaning, mouthpiece and slide cleaning, reed replacement, comb upgrades, re profiling, gapping, wind saver replacement, ordering and installation of replacement parts, and final tuning to intonation of choice.
We service most models of Chromatic harmonicas, but specialize in Hohner models (chromonicas: 260, 270, 64/280, 64X, Super 64x).
For Suzuki harmonicas, reed replacement tools are on hand for servicing welded reed models.
Optimization/ custom upgrades of 260 and 270 harmonicas may include: Replacing all nailed assembly with bolts, slot embossing (as needed), flat sanding/ sealing of comb(s), slide and mouthpiece adjustments for better response and less air leakage (U channel adjustments), slide adjustments for smooth action, custom cover plate support bumpers, reed profiling, slot adjusting, gapping and final tuning to intonation of choice.
